Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Notion Beautifier ("Service"), available at notionbeautifier.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Notion Beautifier is a web-based tool that transforms Notion content into beautifully formatted documents and PDFs using AI technology (Google Gemini). The Service offers:

Free Plan: Limited daily AI transforms (requires your own API key), basic fonts and styles, PDF export with watermark.
Pro Plan: Unlimited AI transforms (no API key required), all fonts and styles, watermark-free PDF export, batch import, and priority features.

3. User Accounts

Some features require creating an account via email or social login (powered by Supabase Auth). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed through Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. By subscribing to a Pro plan:

You authorize Paddle to charge the applicable fees (monthly or annual) to your chosen payment method.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled.
Paddle handles all payment processing, invoicing, sales tax, and VAT compliance on our behalf.

5. Free Trial

Pro plans may include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and you will be charged the applicable fee.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through the Paddle customer portal.
Upon cancellation, you retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
Refund requests are handled by Paddle in accordance with their refund policy and applicable consumer protection laws.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any laws.
Upload content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or exploit the Service.
Abuse the Service by circumventing usage limits or automated scraping.
Share your account credentials or API keys with unauthorized parties.

8. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain all rights to the content you input into the Service. We do not claim ownership of your Notion content or transformed outputs.
Our Service: The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Notion Beautifier and protected by intellectual property laws.
AI-Generated Formatting: The AI-generated formatting and layout suggestions are provided as a tool for your use. You are free to use, modify, and distribute the resulting documents.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers:

Google Gemini API: For AI content transformation. Subject to Google's API Terms.
Notion: For fetching page content via the Notion API. We are not affiliated with Notion Labs, Inc.
Supabase: For authentication and data storage.
Paddle: For payment processing.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
AI-generated transformations will be accurate or meet your specific requirements.
The Service will be compatible with all Notion page formats.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Notion Beautifier shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
